Fun Express' Reaction to COVID-19

Since 1932, we've helped friends and families spark imaginations and celebrate special moments, and now we are here to help our communities navigate through the new normal. We are focused, first and foremost, on the health and well-being of our customers, employees and communities, and that's why we are continuing to monitor COVID-19 situation.

Here are the ways we are supporting our customers and employees during this time:

Customer and Product Safety

The quality and safety of the products Oriental Trading and Fun Express provide to its customers have always been a top priority and responsibility that we take very seriously. In light of the current COVID-19 outbreak, we are working with our domestic and overseas vendors closely and are putting stringent processes in place to operate at the highest level of safety. We are working with our local and state health organizations and are monitoring and exceeding all recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

We have enhanced our cleaning and sanitizing efforts in our offices and fulfillment centers, again going above cleaning guidelines by the CDC. To ensure we are operating at the highest levels of precaution, our fulfillment center employees are wearing masks and face covers while handling products and packages. We are also continuing to educate our employees on good health habits recommended by the CDC and implementing additional precautionary measures like temperature checks to keep everyone safe.

Our fulfillment centers are busy shipping orders daily. Our supply chain operations are in full swing, and we have record inventory levels to support your new normal and help you stay connected.

Taking Care of Our Employees

At Oriental Trading and Fun Express, we're all family. We care deeply for our employees and our community and are taking all possible steps to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. All of our employees who have the ability to work from home are doing so for the immediate future. We have many different job functions throughout our organization and not all jobs are conducive to working from home. Our dedicated operations employees are working hard to fulfill orders for our customers while still implementing healthy practices like social distancing, wearing face masks and covers and adhering to CDC health recommendations. We have also doubled our daily efforts to clean and sanitize our distribution centers, paying special attention to high traffic areas.

To ensure our employees have the support they need, we also implemented an emergency leave policy during this pandemic. If an employee has a confirmed case of COVID-19 or is asked to self-quarantine by health officials or the company, they will receive up to two weeks of pay. And no employee will be penalized for missing work while sick or because of school closures.

We know our employees are busy continuing to take care of our customers and are likely worried about their own health and that of their family. We are extremely grateful for their commitment to our customers and business and their positive outlook as we navigate these uncertain times.
